Birthday Fun

Thanks to everyone that came to Kiera's 1st Birthday Party, We had so much fun! The weather even held out for the most part. It wasn't supposed to be nice, but it was so pretty outside the first part of the day, then once everyone arrived it got cold and rainy, but it was so much better than expected. Thank you again to everyone for the nice gifts, She hasn't stopped playing with any of the toys, minus the bubbles, Kaitlyn claimed those but Kiera didn't care, because she doesn't quite know how to blow bubbles yet anyway. She just likes to pop em. And I can't get enough of the darling clothes.
I still cannot believe she is 1. All I know is they grow up way too quickly. And yes, I got laughed at, I cried like a baby as everyone sang happy birthday to her. I don't know if it was necessarily sad tears, at the moment it felt like a rush of emotion, kind of like a breath of my hard work has paid off, she is 1 year old and we haven't messed her up too bad yet, lol. She has learned so much in such a short amount of time and of coarse knowing she won't be little for much longer.
Kaitlyn was such a big girl yesterday. She helped finalize decorating the house, she "helped" her great grandma get inside, she helped Kiera open her gifts, she served some food and sodas, she sang happy birthday to kiera (without crying), she was just amazing yesterday and all of that was without a nap and sick. She may test me and know exactly how to push my buttons, but she also knows exactly how to make us laugh, smile, forget she can be such a brat and love her like crazy.
