Movie Night

We decided to relax and unwind with a movie tonight and the girls picked Snow White. Here they are 10 minutes into the movie. Kaitlyn LOVED it, she didn't like the mean witch and yelled for Snow White to not eat the Apple. Kiera on the other hand didn't last too long but she was comfortable.




On another note, we have made the final decision to have Kiera's birthday party at Uncle John & Aunt Val's house combining it with Easter on Easter Sunday. Hope to see you there!

BINGO!!!

Last night I went to bingo with Sharon, James' mom and won. I've won $5 or $15 before but this is my biggest win and had to brag about it. Funny thing is I didn't get to yell bingo because I did not win one of the bingo games. I won the St. patricks Day Beads 50/50. Doesn't matter to me, a win is a win!

Disney On Ice 3/14/2010

Disney on Ice came to town and we had to see it! Mama Chee, the girls and I went and had a great time. They got to see their FAVORITE characters, Mickey and Goofy and all the others. They took us through all the holidays and different places of the world.

Happy Birthday Mommy!

Well I'm a year older and feeling better than I have in quite some time. Today for my birthday unfortunately James had to work, but he only had to work till 5 and I got to spend the whole day just hanging with my girls. We didn't get to go outside and play like we have been doing quite a bit the past week or so because of the rain but we had fun. I didn't really plan on doing anything but staying home and relaxing with the fam but when Kaitlyn woke up from her brief nap she told me she was sad for me because nobody showed up for my birthday party. I tried telling her that mommies and daddies don't always have big parties like her and her sister get but she didn't understand. She knew today was my birthday and there was supposed to be a party. She even told me that she called people and everyone was coming. It was pretty cute.
So Mamaw, Papaw, Uncle Ryan and Ronnie called to see if they could come out. They showed up and immediately kicked me out of my own house for a bit of a surprise. They came in full gear. 10 minutes later I was invited back into my house where they and the girls had decorated with balloons and Creigh paper and even brought pizza and 2 kinds of cake. The girls were so delighted that mommy got a birthday party as was I.
Thanks for doing all of that guys! It made a great day even better!

Oh Yeah...

Finally a day worth getting outside and playing WITHOUT freezing! Seems like we have been waiting forever. The girls were ready for this trip to the park playground. Last year Kiera was so little, wow has she really grown up over the winter months, she is pretty much good to go all by herself and when she needs a little help seems Kaitlyn is right there to help her out.

Important Dates Just Around the Corner!

Here's another comparison picture of the girls at the same age at Kiera's current age of 23 months. Some may think it's goofy that I do this, but I love watching how they change as they get older and bigger or don't change. And how different the girls look. Similarities below are they both seem to be magnets for little ouchies on their faces. Differences are the hair. Kaitlyn's hair could be french braided and curled and all sorts of things as Kieras' hair has a mind of its own.

Kiera will be 2 in less than a month. That means there is a party in the near future. I was thinking we would celebrate on the 4th but being that is Easter Sunday it looks like we will be having her party March 28th! There has been some mention of just combining her party on Easter Sunday but as of right now I'm not really feeling that. I'll keep you all posted if something changes.

Kaitlyn's preschool has rented the Magic house for all the kiddos and any family that would like to come with her on Thursday March 18th from 6 to 8pm. If you would like to go with us let me know and we will add you to her RSVP. There is a $1 donation requested from the school to help cover the expenses. Let me know asap.
