They tried to make it to midnight to ring in the new year but both crashed at 10:30. Maybe next year because I'm definately not waking them up for this one. Any other night Kiera is raring to go but on the one night its ok to stay up she crashes, silly girl.

Little Divas & The Movies

The past few evenings the girls just play with everything they got for christmas as it is all in insight and still displayed in the livingroom. Last night they took special interest in the microphones they got. They sang their little hearts out, a mix of solos and duets. It was very cute but kind of disappointing to see them not pay any attention to the expensive items in the room and spending hours with $2 toys. Oh well, as long as they are having a good time, thats all that really matters.

Grandma Sharon wanted to take Kaitlyn to see the new Yogi Bear movie. So yesterday morning Kaitlyn, Mama Sharon and Kaitlyns cousin Mechelle all went to see Yogi. Kaitlyn loved it and talked about it quite a bit. She did great and sat through the whole thing. Kiera was not too pleased at all when we dropped Kaitlyn off at the theater, she knew what was going on and wanted to see the movie too. I would have taken her but she didnt want to get dressed so she was still in her pjs and last time I took her to the movies she made it through about 20 minutes, Not worth the price of admission for a wiggle worm like her.

Last night Kaitlyn was doodling and she loves tracing her name. I decided to see how she did without the tracing and just asking her to write the letters of her name. Not bad for her first attempt. Its recognizable :)

A Wonderful Christmas Weekend

We hope everyone had an amazing Christmas!
We sure did. We had Christmas Eve with the Huber side of the family and Christmas Day with my side of the family. Kaitlyn and Kiera were spoiled as usual and got everything they asked for times ten. This week is all about going through all the old and seeing what we can clear out to make room for all their new things. Once again we hope you had a Very Merry Christmas and are gearing up for a fabulous New Year :)
