A Little note from Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn was so proud of her art work she brought home Tuesday.

So, If we don't get to see you for dinner here tomorrow or Thursday out at The Cheeks, Have a GREAT Thanksgiving! Come on out tomorrow if you want to take you tummies on a test drive to get geared up for Thursday. The more the merrier.

Uncle Ryans Birthday

Uncle Ryan's birtthday was this past Friday and we had a small party for him. Mainly because Kaitlyn and Kiera get so excited about birthdays and who doesn't like a birthday party? Presents, Food, Cake, Fun! Here are a few pics.

Play Time with Daddy & More

Unfortunately James doesn't get to spend as much time as I do with our girls I think he was just as excited if not more excited about breaking open the tote full of legos that mama Sharon handed down to Kaitlyn and Kiera the other day. They ended up builing a cute little house and a mini Excursion (just like ours) He's way more talented with those legos than I am and the girls were just fasinated to watch him and extatic to have some daddy, daughter time. I just snuck in a few pictures and did my own thing.




Kaitlyn getting ready to go to school. 1st day in her new class! She was nervous but excited and even tho she says she misses her old teacher she has adjusted really well so far. I hate changing up what she is used to but it is great practice for whats going to take place come next year. Kindergarten!

So I decided for some bizzar reason to see what I looked like with blonde hair. Even though I did the virtual thing on the computer and didn't like it I bought a few boxes of lightest blonde dye and went to town. After even more boxes and 2 days of dying I never accomplished the blonde I was going for. The lightest I could get it was some sort of shade of dirty/strawberry blonde. Nothing against anyone with red or orange hair, but its not me at all. Even though a few people told me it looked good I couldn't do anything but laugh at myself when I looked in the mirror so I am back to being a brunette all though a bit lighter than I would like it to be, but I don't think my hair can take many more chemicals for now, but soon I will be back to where I wanna be.

Back to Brunette. Ah, much better. I'll be going a tad bit darker to get rid of the final red thats in there and then I'm done. I'm thinking a new Hairstyle is in order tho. Any suggestions?

Halloween 2010

I hope everyone had a fun and safe halloween. We went up to mama and papa Cheeks house. Great Grandma, Great Grandpa and Aunt Val came over to go trick or treating with us and or visit. the girls made out with a ton of candy. Kaitlyn thought she was the bell of the ball in her Cinderella dress and Kiera loved acting like a wacky clown. Their costumes suited their personalities pretty good this year. Kaitlyn was a bit upset when I told her that I was not going to dress up. She thought I would feel left out so mama Sharon, the girls and I went out Saturday afternoon in search of something. Kaitlyn was so happy that I got a costume and I'll do whatever I gotta do for my girls to be happy. I'm not gonna lie, it was fun dressing up.

Grants Farm Halloween Bash

Saturday evening we met up with mama Cheek and Ronnie and went to Grants Farm. What an enjoyable evening. The girls had a blast. The goats tried to eat Kaitlyns dress which she wasn't a huge fan of but The best part by far was the music, as soon as we got to the area where everyone was dancing the Scooby Doo theme song started followed by sponge bob, the chicken dance, the hokey pokey and any other kids favorite you could imagine. Kiera let loose on the dance floor like she's never done before it was priceless. We will definately go back to this again
