Yay, another 1st, just when I was thinking there were no more...

Kiera got a hair cut and she looks so different. I don't know if the hair in her eyes all the time drove her or me more crazy, but over the past few days we tried head bands and seeing how long she would keep a pony tail in but it just wasn't cutting it so something had to be done. It's not 100% but its a whole lot better. She was so excited to get there then once we were there she wanted to check the whole place out. She even hopped right in the booster seat and let the lady put on the cool cape, but after talking over what we were going to do for a few minutes, because everyone is at a loss when it comes to Kieras beautiful fine thin weightless hair she had had enough. So we left and got some lunch, went and visited grandma Sharon for a bit then decided to try it again on the way home, she was very tired and really wanting to nap. This time she wouldn't have anything to do with the cool cape, but she did sit on my lap and we got it done in a very quick manner there was only one accidental snip of the hair that wasn't supposed to be as short as it is now from when she turned her head real fast as the scissors were snipping. Being that I had to hold her the 2nd time around, I couldn't take pictures so Kaitlyn got to take the pictures she was so excited to do so and I think she did a great job!

I can't forget to mention even with all the running around and stuff we did yesterday, who could forget it was pawpaw Cheeks Birthday? Not us! The girls coudln't wait to get home so they could call him and sing Happy Birthday.

checking out a little catapiller and swimming after the whole hair cut ordeal. Kaitlyn was hands down the best big sister yesterday. At times she gave a look here and there as if she didn't like the day being about Kiera, but she was so proud to be our little photographer and she was right there reassuring Kiera everything was going to be ok. She even got a "Best Big Sister" balloon for how great she was with letting Kiera have the spot light for a few hours. She's really growing up fast lately. She is such an amazing little girl, they both are.
now to figure out how to get my pictures from my phone to this computer without emailing them...I have the cutest picture of Kaitlyn on her Big Wheel striking a pose. Can't wait to share it! Have a Great weekend!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream


Well that gets you caught upon what we've been busy doing this summer. Grants farm, the pool, different parks, pools, water parks, the horse races, dining out at the girls favorite restraunt, Texas Road House, the pool and so much more. The great thing is, is that there is still almost a month of summer left before Kaitlyn goes back to school so who knows what else or where else we might adventure to. One thing for sure will be Kaitlyns 5th birthday and party, she hasn't decided exactly what she wants to do to celebrate but we'll get it all figured out this week since its only 22 days away. Oh My, my baby is about to be 5! Where does the time go? Anyway, Check back often for regular updates now that I got everything in working order.
