More fun in more snow

Another snow day = another day of playing out in the snow. I'm done with it but the girls are having a blast. Not looking forward to the added accumulation we're in for Sunday. Come one Spring!

White snow is pretty, but colored snow is even better. Kaitlyn had an absolute blast spraying the snow she would not come in until her gloves literally froze to the spray bottle. She said the the first thing she is doing tomorrow is going out and spraying more snow. Whatever suits her fancy.

They both absolutely love to play in the snow. Their feet would fall off from frost bite before they will admit to being cold and have to go inside. Kiera has already tried to prove that.

Some not so fun news. After a night of fever and coughing and fast labored breathing I took Kiera to the urgent care this afternoon and they confirmed she has Croup. Yuck. So now we have to let it run its course and try to keep the rest of us from getting it. I keep telling myself to not take them to any public places during this time of year. Never fails that two -three days after we do go somewhere someone is sick. It's just not as fun staying home, but I'd rather be a bit bored and healthy that fun everyday and sick all winter long. We celebrated mama Cheeks birthday Saturday. When we first got there Kiera was drawn to uncle Ryan's New Years Hat and beads and really thought she was a big shot wearing those around the house. Then later on in the evening aunt Sharon and uncle Kerry stopped by so we got to sing happy birthday to both mama and aunt Sharon. We baked mamas favorite pineapple upside down cake, Kaitlyn was a big helper with baking the cake then mama got to open her gifts.

I love how they love each other so much. They always take the time for a hug or sqeeze. Its kid of funny but when one of them is getting in trouble for something they did the other will protect her sister. Kaitlyn will point and say dont yell at my best freind that way and Kiera will get right inbetween Kaitlyn and the person repremanding her. She will make herself as big as she physically can arms out and legs spread and say my best buddy in her mean little voice. So in the end they both end up in trouble but I hope they always protect eachother and stay as close as they are now.

Sometimes We have more pictures of Kiera than Kaitlyn and it's only because Somedays Kaitlyn hates getting her picture taken and I dont force the issue. I'm not playing favorites...............yet :)

It was a fun weekend and great way to start the new year.
Only down side to it was not taking a whole day to get the girls back to our regular schedule and routine. Monday morning came early and it was a rough day to get through. Last night the girls were in bed an hour earlier than the night before and tonight I am planning to be right back on schedule.

Kieras dance video

This video has been talked about and asked about quite a bit and I finally found a way to post it on here for your viewing pleasure. The first time Kiera did this dance was back that the Halloween bash at grants Farm and ever since then she askes for it or I put it on. Kaitlyn dances to it as well, but this was taken one day when Kaitlyn was at school and just too cute to not share. My favorite moves are about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way through when she grabs her dress and wiggles. she loves prancing around in my heels if she could all day everyday she would. Enjoy...
