Kaitlyn's 1st Encounter with the Ice Cream Truck

so she has heard and watched the ice cream man go by ever since she was a wee lil baby and I have debated on letting her get an ice cream from him because I knew that once I shed light that it wasn't just a truck that drove around playing music and said, "Hi." You could actually stop him and get Ice Cream, it would be the start of a never ending question. But the other day we just had to try it out. So she's standing at the corner with her hand up in the air yelling for him to stop. Funny thing was he was still a good 200 yards away down the street. The neighbors were getting a kick out of it. He slowly makes his way to us and we cross the street. I know she has no clue what is going to go on or what to expect, however she acted like she has done this forever. I wonder if mama or papa have stopped the ice cream man before???) Walks right up to the truck says Hi to the guy and points right at the $3 Sponge bob ice cream. Did they put him right there at her eye level so nothing else would seem to appear? Anyways, she was so excited, the the ear to ear grin was unforgettable. What a great way to end an evening. Check off yet another first for Kaitlyn.
