She knew it was going to be a big day from the minute she woke up. She always wakes up and walks out of her room all by herself but today she called me in. I walked in and she was sitting on her bed all poised and as soon as we made eye contact she said with a huge smile on her face. Me go to school today? and I got to tell her today was finally the day we had been talking about, it was time to go to school! Since we ended up going with the PM class it seemed like it took forever for it to be time to leave for school. She got anxious and a little moody. We get up to school and James was hoping to make it up there on his lunch ending up not being able to make it, but called at just the perfect time. The teachers were checking out the new little girl and as they were she was walking down the hallway chatting on my cell phone with her daddy and she thought she was a big shot. So Me and Kiera and Papa and Mama Cheek saw her off. It was exciting and great until it was time to leave her I leaned over to give her a kiss and the tears just started falling out of my eyes, so I kissed her and told her to have fun and I walked out in a bit of a hurry so she didn't think I was upset. By the time I got out the classroom door I was laughing at myself. Mama Sheryl and I went and picked her up and she was exhausted when she came out. Her teacher said she did great. We tried not to overwhelm her with questions but couldn't help it. After she got home and got some food in her belly she wasn't so tired and told us that she liked school and finally by bedtime she said she wanted to go back tomorrow. I can tell this is going to be so good for her especially with the winter months coming up I wont have to go crazy trying to find fun things for her to do that are indoors at least 4 days out of the week beause she will be having fun and learning at preschool. I'm so proud of her. I wish they wouldn't grow up this fast though.

Everyone was tired after out long exciting day except for Kiera. Here she is at midnight hanging out with her baby doll, showing no signs of looking tired

I enjoyed seeing her off for her first day of Big girl school as she calls it. I really liked the facilitys and the personal. She's in good hands.!! I cant believe how much of a big shot she thought she was. I think with the winter aproaching it was a real good time to get her with other kids. I do think Kiera will miss her. I also think its good that she will get a little one on one with you. Talk to you later.
