Finally an Update

So we were without home internet for a few weeks but now we're back up and running. A lot has taken place in the short time so here we go...
Fathers Day we spent up at Mama and Papa Cheeks house playing and hanging out with the family. We've done a ton of swimming so far this summer between mama Sharons pool, the pools in mama and papa cheek's subdivision and the pool here at home plus a few trips to the water park. Seems out moto for the summer is, if it ain't rainin we're swimmin. We took a trip down to Alabama to see cousin Kristen marry Luke. It was a quick trip leaving at 10pm Friday night and heading back noon Sunday. The girls did really good on the way down there. On the way back they chose to sit by eachother and that made for a rocky time with bickering and biting and so on. So from now on we know adults in the front one child in the second row and another in the thrid row. Along with a dvd player, kid song CDs, and lots of snacks got the job done. The girls were so excited about the big trip to Alabama to go to the wedding and it was very nice. We danced and danced and had a great time. Only odd thing was, is everyone knows that my kids do ot miss a lick of anything, and don't really care to sleep. So why they both crashed by 9:30 during the reception right by the speakers still boggles my mind. I didn't get many pictures because I was busy having a good time. We finished off the trip by heading over to aunt Sharon and uncle Kerry's house for a relaxing and fun hour of swimming at their pool. It made me really miss having the pool I grew up with, one day I'll have to get another, its just too nice not to have. Traveling back on the 4th took the holiday feel out of the day, but it was good trip back and as soon as we got back it started to get dark so we went otside and watched fireworks. Finally on the 5th we got back home and went and bought some fireworks for the girls. Finally it felt like the fourth of July, the girls sat and picked out what they wanted James and I to light while they sat back and enjoyed the show while eating there DQ Blizzards. Here we are a week later, rested up and gearing up for another fun weekend. James and I are actually having a date night tomorrow. That doesn't happen nearly as often as it should. Last time we went out without the kiddos was back in Feb. for Valentines Day, not sure if the girls are going to mama and papa Cheeks house or if mama Sharon is coming over, either way it's happeneing because I need a night out bad! Eccpecially since James will be leaving for the next 7 days and it will be just the girls and I.
