Earlier this evening Kaitlyn lost her first tooth. She had been playing with it and pulling at it for the past few days and without saying a word I noticed one minute it was there and the next minute it was gone. Uncle Ryan found it as he just began to look for it on the floor in the living room. She was in denial and mad or upset about it being out and did not want to show anyone her new smile, not sure what to think about the new gap in the front of her mouth but in a few short hours she now finds it to he fun and amusing and we cannot wait to see if the tooth fairy will visit tonight. While moving her tongue around tonight during her bath she discovered another is loose! It is exciting but I can not help but think about what seems like just yesterday when that very same tooth first poked through the gums. Back then I thought, "my little tiny baby is getting teeth. She's growing so fast, she's not a baby baby anymore." Now I don't know what to think as those little teeth are starting to fall out. Some days seem so long but right now it feels like the last 5.1/2 years have flown by so fast. I'm almost afraid to blink, if I do what will I miss? Funny what kinds of thoughts and emotions run through your mind at the loss of something as little as a tooth. I guess its a mom thing or is it just me? :)
Also included are pictures of Kiera's cute little hair-do. I hope she doesn't take scissors to her hair again but I'm glad she did. She really loves her new do and I think she looks adorable.
