With being diagnosed with Measles, Rosiola, Ear infection & Tooth #9 pushing through the gums. Poor little baby. She had a real runny nose last Sunday that carried through till a fever showed up Tuesday, she had that fever with the runny nose and not wanting to eat anything and wanting to sleep most of the day until Thursay. She looked like she was doing alot better with the exception for being crabby and a runny nose and noticing she had a tooth poking through Thursday afternoon when we took Kaitlyn to the Eye Doctor. Who by the way has no problems or issues with her eyes! So yesterday morning I am feeding Kiera and notice a ever so slight rash on her forehead. By the time she was done with her milk the rash was on her whole face and neck. So just to make sure it wasnt from the clothes I put on her I stripped her down and they took a bath. By the time I got her out of the bath the rash was on her whole chest. Eventually it worked its way over her whole body. With all of her other symptoms people kept telling me she had Swine Flu.... So they swabbed her and looked her over and came back with The rash is a combo of Rosiola and Measles. Her measles are NOT contagious, she did not contract them from someone hers is a side effect of getting the MMR shot a week and a half ago. She got that(Measles, Mumps, Rubella) along with the Varicella(chicken pox) and Hep A. The rosiola was only contagios during the 2 days she had the fever. So don;t be scared to come and visit. You can't get what she has and she just perks right up when someone comes to play.
Kiera feeling yucky

She really thinks she is a big girl when she feeds herself

a very tired baby

rash on hips and top of legs

passed out (hopefully for the night)

face rash, not too red at the moment, just really bumpy, but some places really change by the minute. We were on our way to the bank this morning and I could barely see the rash on her face, a few minutes later I looked back at her and her face was really red a puffy around her nose. I think the worst was today, let's hope she gets better real fast.
