Hurry Up Summer

The girls cannot wait for the fun days of summer to get here. All the rain lately has them talking about it even more. They decided to put on the new swim suits tonight and model them. Kaitlyn picked these out herself and was determined to buy them today. I think she has good taste :)

Easter 2011

It may have rained all day Easter Sunday but that didn't put a damper on the fun. Kaitlyn woke up bright and early to see what the Easter Bunny left but had to wait an hour till Kiera woke up for indoor Easter Egg hunt. It was very hard to wait Kaitlyn said and that was even with me letting her try to wake Kiera up for a half hour of that time. Eventually we headed up to Mama and Papa Cheeks house where the girls were surprised to see a basket full of candy, little cooking aprons and cute little bunnies waiting for them there along with another Easter Egg Hunt. It was a Great Day!

Egg Dye Time

Twas the night before Easter and all through the house. Everybody was stirring and getting ready to dye Easter eggs. And this is how the girls creations turned out. They just can't keep their hands off long enough for the dye to dry. But I think they got pretty creative with the colors. I was a little surprised to have to get 12 cups out this year. The box advertised 9 colors but there were definitely 12 in there. As usual it was a fun time with bath time immediately following.

Cards Game

I don't know Why I'm even posting this because I wasn't invited, but James got to go to the Cardinals game a little while back and this is where he sat. Not too shabby. I'm still a tad jealous.


On another note all the storms we've been getting hasn't been any fun. The other day we were helping MaMa Sharon move and I took this pic as it unexpectedly started hailing. The girls did not like the sound of the hail hitting the metal carport thing at all. It was very loud

Slumber Party @ a Hotel

Kaitlyn's spring break officially started Wed at noon and she had been asking if the pools were open yet so I decided to make a reservation at a near by hotel and pack them up. We got to the hotel to see that they had a huge indoor pool, indoor playground and game room. Perfect for the yucky weather we've been having. They ended up swimming from about 6pm to 10pm. Uncle Ryan decided to join us around 9pm about 20 minutes after Kaitlyn pulled her 2nd loose tooth out in the pool. Somehow she didn't drop it and swam it over to me. Ryan took it up to the room, changed his closed and joined us in the pool for about an hour. We had a lot of fun in the room just before the girls crashed we did flips and somersaults and jumped like crazy people on the bed. Luckily the tooth fairy found Kaitlyn and her tooth there at the hotel. Kaitlyn was so excited to wake up in the morning and see that there was money in the place she had put her tooth. People call me crazy for doing spontaneous things like this with my girls, but I don't care. It was something different to do and the girls had a blast. In fact Kiera asked if that was our new home because she wanted to live there, haha. We'll probably do it again soon.

The Hunt Must Go On

Well it was only 44 degrees and there was 30 mile an hour winds but the Easter Egg Hunt must go on. I had to take them by my self this year so there was no way to be with both of them at two different places how they divide the kids up by age. So Kiera hunted with the big kids. They had fun for about 2 minutes then started freezing. The highlight for both of them was getting their picture taken with Clifford!
