What Happens In 9 Months?

I was so excited to see when comparing this picture that I took this evening to a picture we took last June (9 months ago) that my girls haven't actually grown up and changed as much as I thought they had. Do you think they have changed that much?
But when you think that 9 months before the older picture was taken Kiera was about the size of a peanut, then it makes you think all over again, where does the time go?

Mardi Gras

We didnt do much to celebrate but Kiera got a shirt from great aunt Val that happen to fit the "holiday" those are not beads around her neck that is just how cute the shirt is. Did it not fit Mardi Gras perfectly? Uncle Ryan gave Kaitlyn some beads, papa and Kaitlyn watched some spongebob and relaxed and Kiera crashed with mama and played some guitar hero with uncle Ryan. Fun enough! unfortunately daddy had to work :(

what do you do late at night? We PLAY!

So when the girls wont wind down because of loud thunder and rain, we don't get cranky, we play, check out the weather and catch weather updates when the satelite wasn't out due to the lovely weather. Plus I had to test out my new camera :)

Fun Day at the Park

We decided today was just way too pretty of a day to sit inside, so we called up mama and papa and ryan and ronnie and we all met up at Faust Park. They had a great playground and carousal (the ride where the horses go around and around) in case my spelling is way off. Anyways. It was a good time, here are a few pictures to prove it! According to the last picture, I think Kiera learned how to fly!!! We hope you got to get out and enjoy the day as well.

Valentines Day 2009

This being Kiera's 1st Valentines Day, Kaitlyn's 4th and James and my 10th together, I decided it was going to be a special one. Valentines Day also marks Kaitlyn's 1/2 birthday and our 1/2 year anniversary, so what? I celebrate anything that can host a celebration. and what a great day we had relaxing with the girls most of the day then they got to have a slumber party with the cheeks' and visit great mama & papa. off to the suites I went to have a wonderful evening with my amazing husband. Most years we dont do much at all for Valentines day ecxept for a dinner, exchange cards and maybe James surprises me with something little. But with so much to celebrate and so much love we had to do it up. Here are a few pics.

Things you really need to do to find a job or keep a job, with today's economy

I was emailed this and thought I would spread the word. It is funny in a way, but it is sad in how true it is. The things that should get you ahead dont and the things that used to be frowned upon get you higher on the ladder than ever before.

Trip to the Magic House

Aunt Val was off work today and she was looking for something to do so we decided to check out the Magic House. I hadn't been since I was probably 7 or 8 years old and it has gotten a whole lot bigger than I remember it being, which is unusual, because things that seem huge and amazing when you are a youngin seem small and medeoker when you are grown. But not the Magic House it was 4 Stories of F.U.N! Her are the pictures to prove it... Also included one of the girls peering through the baby gate trying to get to me while I was cooking dinner. :)

Snack Time, Exhausting?

So, after hours of getting the girls and myself ready to go to the park after a fun day of cleaning and organizing I decide to give the girls a snack before we head out the door. About two bites in I look over and Kaitlyn is sound asleep so I get two more bites in Kiera and she passes out. Now it is 4:45 and starting to lose light, what a beautiful day to not be able to get outdoors. I would take them out here at the house but the ground is just muddy mushy messy. I hope they wake up nice and relaxed, but I have a feeling Kaitlyn is going to wake up and realized she missed her oppertunity to play at the park and may get quite upset.

Finally a day worth going out to Enjoy!

So we had to get out to the park today. It was to pretty out to pass up. Never do know when another foot of snow could attack. I dont have any pictures, my hands were a bit full. Kaitlyn acted like I have had her caged up for months. She could do so many things that were too big for her last year. She has grown up so much in these few winter months. Kiera was pretty happy with me holding her, although I did put her on a triangle swing thing for a few minutes and she loved that and she went down the tiny slide with my assistance and then decided she wanted to walk about and check things out for herself. Now picture this pretty good size playground with probably 50 or so kids all different ages running around like they have their heads cut off and one comes running through and just plows Kiera over.... What do you do? I grabbed that kid up and whipped her tail end. Because of all the kids to do it it was her own big sis, Kaitlyn. Gotta love it. It was truley a big breath of fresh air to get outside with out coats and hats and gloves and all that other bulk, infact I think we are going to do it again tomorrow! If anyone else feels up to it give a call.

10 Months Old Already!

I probably start out every month saying what I'm about to say, but Where does the time go??? My little Kiera is 10 months old which makes her sound like she is growing up, but worse to say is her birthday is only in 2 months! And Kaitlyn is going to officially be 3 1/2 on Valentines day! I've probably mentioned this before as well, but it's exciting and unbelievable... This Valentines day will be James and my 10th together and we will be married 4 1/2 years! Crazy, crazy, crazy.





I know it seems sometimes that I take a ton more pictures of Kiera than I do Kaitlyn but that is only because alot of times Kaitlyn doesnt want her picture taken and we have over 5000 pictures of her from the past 3 years, we have to get Kiera caught up. They are both my favorite!

Superbowl XLIII Party

We decided to throw a little superbowl party together and what a good time it was. We or I should say the girls and I were hoping the Cardinals would win, daddy was rooting for the Steelers. But we had a good time. Kaitlyn really got into it yelling and shouting and jumping up and down at all the plays and penalties, that was so cute to see, she even danced during the halftime show. Kiera sported her Arizona Cardinal Gear and looked as cute as ever. I was too busy to take alot of pictures but here are a few. As you can see the night just got worse for Kiera, she started out happy on Uncle Ryans shoulders, was having a good time playing with Kaitlyn, then Kaitlyn took her bottle then the loss. :)
